Inspected under UV light and 10x loupe. Splits in wood including one that meanders down proper front left crown to face with signs of old repair. Heavy corrosion of uraeus and bronze eyes. Hints of resin (bitumen?) throughout including below eyes. Generally weathered surface with uneven patination. Some stucco at top rear of crown. Two bronze elements remain on each side of crown, likely from original bronze feathers. Old inventory label at proper top right of crown. Old inventory label below proper left ear (Coll. Ernest Brummer). Overall in fine and stable condition. See additional images. Height with stand 23 1/2 inches (59.69 cm).
