**Lot of 3 Incomplete U.S. Springfield Model 1903 Rifles
World War I, World War II
Lot includes:

1.) .30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 405648. Re-applied blue metal finish. Bolt action with second variation M1905 rear sight and a side mounted scope rail. Item is without front sight. Markings include non-serif U.S./SPRINGIFLED/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/405648 to receiver, and SA/{flaming bomb}/8-09 to top of barrel. Cut-offs both have serif letters.

2.) .30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 295510. Blued military finish. Walnut "S" stock has a plain straight grip and forearm, with grasping grooves. Incomplete bolt action rifle with second variation M1905 rear sight and a smooth trapdoor buttplate that has been stippled or purposely struck. Item is missing bolt, follower, trigger, handguard, barrel band, and forend lug. Markings include non-serif U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/295510 to receiver, and SA/{flaming bomb}/8-18 to top of barrel. Stock shows no inspector cartouches or proofs and barrel appears to be plugged halfway with a metal rod.

3.) .30-06. 24" barrel length. SN: 1279131. Blued and parkerized metal finish. Walnut M1922 stock with plain semi pistol grip and forearm, with grasping grooves. Bolt action rifle with an internal magazine. Item is without sights and has a Winchester barrel. Item is missing sling swivels, barrel band, and bolt. Markings include U.S./SPRINGFIELD/ARMORY/MODEL 1903/1279131 to receiver. Stock does not show any inspector cartouches or proof marks.

Condition Report
1.) Good as refurbished. Bore is frosty. Finish shows sprinkled pitting overall, as well as some oxidation around receiver.

2.) Fair. Bore is plugged. Finish has thinned appearance overall, with scattered scratches and pitting. Wood stock has scattered scratches and mars, as well as several large cracks to left side of forearm.

3.) Fair to good, receiver possibly refurbished. Bore is bright. Finish shows light scratches and pit marks overall. Stock has scratches and mars overall.
