** BSA SMLE No. 1 MK III Dated 1915
World War I
.303 British. 25" barrel length. SN: 3109139. Blued military finish. Full length walnut stock has plain grip and forearm, with full length handguards. Bolt action rifle with an adjustable tangent notch rear sight and blade front sight with ear protectors. Item features an integrated magazine, bayonet lug forend, double sling swivels, and a brass trapdoor buttplate void of contents. Volley sights appear to have been removed at some point. Markings include various British proofs overall to metal and wood stock, including {crown}/GR/B.S.A. Co/1915/Sht LE/III to wrist band and what appear to be JJCO importer marks on right side of receiver.

Condition Report
Good to very good. Bore is bright. Finish has a mottled grey-brown appearance overall due to finish loss, scratches, grease residue, pitting, and developing patina. Wood stock shows scratches and mars overall. Action is functional.
