Lot Description
** FN 1900 German Police Marked Pre WWI
World War I
.32 ACP. 4" barrel length. SN: 125664. Blued metal finish with polished barrel, nitre blued extractor, and mounting FN marked black hardrubber grips. Simple blowback operated striker action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item shows K.P.Pr.B. No 911 marking to the left frame indicating that it was once retained by the police precinct in Berlin where it was listed as gun number 911. The safety markings are appropriately applied in German and read FEUER and SICHER. The handgun was manufactured in Belgium by FN and shows the standard markings appropriate for this model including FABRIQUE-NATIONALE-HERSTAL-LIEGE.(BROWNING'S-PATENT) with the frame marked BREVETE S.G.D.G. below the FN logo. Belgian proof markings appear on all major components. Item comes with one FN marked magazine, and a leather holster that bears the markings PR 26/No 911 written in ink on the flap, which indicates it was issued to Polizei Revier 26 as the precinct.

Condition Report
Good. Bore is Frosty with brown patina throughout and some flecked oxidation. Blued finish is thinning overall with gripstraps dominated by a brown patina. Finish additionally shows edgewear to the frame and slide, along with some muzzle wear to the slide. Some brown flecking to the finish on the slide and frame. Polished internal components retain their finish with the extractor likewise retaining much of its nitre blue. Grips are Fine with crisp details. Holster shows some crazing forming over the flap with stains overall and some stretch marks flowing from the tie down.
