Condition Report

Sturdy condition without significant damage or repairs. Can be sat upon. Upholstery is clean and intact. There are a few scuffs and rubbed areas throughout where the gesso is exposed (all very small and typical for gilded furniture); heavier wear around the feet. There are some areas, such as in the recessed channel of the crest rail, which appear to have been overpainted with gold rather than leaf.
