Standing studio portrait of George William BROWN (1812-1890), who served as the 20th Mayor of Baltimore from 1860-61; arrested 12 September 1861. Boston: Black, n.d. Period ink inscription to verso reads, "Geo Wm Brown. Baltimore Md. (Mayor) Political Prisoner Fort Warren & Fort Lafayette." -- Seated portrait of Charles HOWARD, who served as President of the Board of Baltimore Police Commissioners from 1850-1861; arrested on 31 July 1861. Baltimore: Bendann Bros, n.d. Period ink inscription to verso reads, "C. Howard One of the Baltimore Commissioners. Political Prisoner of Fort Warren & Lafayette 1861 & 2." -- Seated portrait of Severn Teackle WALLIS (1816-1894), who contributed to local newspapers and journals, and served in the General Assembly of Maryland in 1861; arrested 12 September 1861. Baltimore: Bendann Bros., 1863. Period ink inscription to verso reads, "Member of Maryland Legislature. Political Prisoner of Fort Lafayette & Warren. S.T.
