**Smith & Wesson DA .45 Hand Ejector Model of 1917 (Postwar-Transitional)
Good. Bore is Frosty with pinpoint pitting throughout. Metal finish displays light edgewear overall with a continuous turn ring. Casehardened finish on the hammer and trigger is strong with some pinpoint brown patina and thinning on the trigger spur. Rear gripstrap shows a brown patina forming with flecking appearing over the frame, and barrel flanks. Item shows some muzzle wear and scratches scattered over the barrel. Front sight has an uneven texture from reshaping, and some flakes on the left side suggesting that solder was used to reshape the sight and has begun to separate from the steel. Grips show few skips to the checkering and some light dents. Retain much of the detail to the medallions, but the left grip panel medallion has been ground down during the reshaping of the panel. Action shows good timing.
