Lot Description
**Colt Model M 1903 Pocket Hammerless .32 Type IV
.32 ACP. 3.75" barrel length. SN: 487269. Blued metal finish with checkered walnut Colt medallion grips with slide showing signs of aggressive cleaning. Simple blowback operated internal hammer fired autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Pistol mounts an integrated barrel bushing and magazine safety indicative of the Type IV pattern. Markings include two-line address and patent to the left slide reading COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A./PATENTED APR. 20, 1897. DEC. 22, 1903 with the {Rampant Colt} logo following behind the cocking serrations. Right slide is marked COLT AUTOMATIC/CALIBRE 32 RIMLESS SMOKELESS. Left frame is struck with Colt's monogram VP proof marking. Comes with one CAL.32/COLT marked magazine.

Condition Report
Fair. Bore is Dark with oxidation throughout and some pitting. External finish has been buffed bright on the slide with scattered pitting over the edges of the slide and some traces of blue remaining to the recesses. Frame retains a stronger blue with brown patina along the gripstraps and some light pitting along the edges of the triggerguard and forward frame. Grips show some handling wear and mars overall with some loss of fine details to the grip medallions. Magazine floorplate has been buffed bright on the base.
