Hindman Auctions Appoints Caroline Mujica-Parodi As Director Of Museum Services

Ms. Mujica-Parodi to Lead Growth of Museum Services Department

CHICAGO – Hindman announces the appointment of Caroline Mujica-Parodi as Director of Museum Services. Ms. Mujica-Parodi brings over 15 years of art industry experience to her role where she will lead the growth of the department and expand Hindman’s institutional service offerings to clients including managing valuations, consignments, and acquisitions.

She joins the Museum Services Department after working as Managing Director of Private Client Services for the Haven Art Group, a collection advisory subsidiary of high net worth carrier Pure Insurance. In her role at Haven Art Group, Ms. Mujica-Parodi led national collectibles and fine art services for over 90,000 members and managed private, corporate, and institutional collections ranging in value from five million to over one billion. She negotiated private loans to some of the largest institutions in the country and acted as risk consultant to museums, major commercial galleries, and art service firms.

Prior to Haven, Ms. Mujica-Parodi was a registrar at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago where she managed its loan program, oversaw exhibition installations, and administered an inventory of over 2,500 works of art. Ms. Mujica-Parodi holds a B.A. in History from the University of Maryland College Park and an M.A. in Arts Administration from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Ms. Mujica-Parodi also holds an appraisal certificate from the Appraiser’s Association of America and is USPAP compliant.
