Freeman's | Hindman is proud to present the Spring 2025 auction of Prints, Multiples & Photographs, taking place May 7. This highly anticipated sale features masterworks by leading Contemporary and Modern artists, offering an exciting opportunity for collectors and art enthusiasts alike.

Headlining the Pop Art session is a powerful group of works by Andy Warhol, including the complete Cowboys and Indians portfolio (1986), iconic Campbell’s Soup I prints (Tomato Soup and Chicken Noodle Soup), and a unique $ (4). The auction also includes major works by Ed Ruscha, Roy Lichtenstein, David Hockney, Frank Stella, Alex Katz, and Robert Longo’s Men in the Cities series.

Our Modern Art session showcases exceptional prints and ceramics by Pablo Picasso, with additional highlights by Salvador Dalí, Joan Miró, Henri Matisse, and M.C. Escher, featuring etchings, linocuts, and other techniques.

The curated Photography session brings together influential works by 20th-century photographers including Harry Callahan, O. Winston Link, and Aaron Siskind, as well as striking contemporary pieces by Peter Beard, Robert Mapplethorpe, and Sebastião Salgado.

Don’t miss this opportunity to acquire rare, museum-quality prints and photographs by some of the most celebrated names in art history.

We are also pleased to present our Post War & Contemporary Art auction on May 13 in New York—a dynamic sale of 114 thoughtfully curated works spanning the 1930s to today. Featuring a mix of blue-chip icons and rising stars, the auction offers collectors the chance to chase market favorites and discover fresh talent.

Highlights include Fritz Scholder’s Four Indian Riders (1967), a bold Frank Stella wall relief, surrealist works by Gertrude Abercrombie, a vibrant Roy Lichtenstein Electric Seascape, a stunning Magdalena Abakanowicz tapestry, and lyrical landscapes by Lois Dodd from the estate of Met Trustee Emerita Eliot C. Nolen.

The sale also features works with notable provenance—including pieces from the collections of Lydia Winston Malbin, Bud Holland, and Mimi Kazon—as well as a rare Dan Flavin work on paper gifted to his photographer friend Gretchen Lambert.

We’re also thrilled to debut A Vision in Color, a guest-curated session by art advisor Emily Friedman spotlighting works by powerful voices in abstraction, including Alice Baber, Emily Mason, Ethel Schwabacher, and more.
