European Folk Dress Ensemble, 1930-60s
The five-pive piece cotton ensemble consists of a hand-embroidered shirt, skirt, apron, detached collar and a extra piece of long hand-embroidered cream cotton. The shirt, apron an collar are trimmed in bobbin lace. Unlabeled
Condition Report
The ensemble has been worn. The cream cotton of the shirt and apron have yellowed. There are a couple of breaks in the bobbin lace towards the top right waistband. The skirt is missing hook and eyes at the closure. The shape of the two white caps is distorted from flat storage.
