Lot Description
Two Vintage Handbags, 1950-60s

The first is a small clutch made with grey satin brocade woven with gold lame thread. The fabric is cartridge pleated onto a goldtone frame trimmed with faux pearls. Off-white satin lining with a 'Made in France' label. Small chain strap. No additional labels or manufacturing marks. The second bag is made of ribbed black silk that is cartridge pleated onto a pointed goldtone frame, which is finished with a square black enameled flower. The strap is made of self-fabric. The bag is lined in black fabric with a small internal pocket. No labels or manufacturing marks.
First bag: 7"W x 5.5"H. Strap drop: 2.5"
Second bag: 9"W x 10"H. Strap drop: 7"

Condition:
Overall good condition. Wear consistent with age. The black bag shows slight soiling on exterior and handle, The gold lame of the first bag has tarnished to a dull gold and the lining has many spots from used. The clasp is loose.
