Lot Description
Christian Dior by Marc Bohan Haute Couture Dress and Shoes, Spring-Summer 1965
Worn by Dame Olivia de Havilland

Light blue long dress with draped design over a boned inner bodice. The main seams of the ensemble are sewn by machine while the inside, finishing stitches are done by hand. Thin shoulder straps support the draped design, which pulls into a large bow at the center back. The havily boned bodice closes down the center back with numerous hooks and eyes. The dress closes down the center back with a zip. The matching shoes are made of a ribbed fabric with a pointed toe and stiletto heel.

Condition Report
Condition:
The dress is in overall stable condition with overall discoloration of the fabric in vertical lines. Some of the hand-stitching on the inside of the bodice, around the front neckline and in the bow/closure at the center back are loose. The shoes are worn, discolored and faded.
