Lot Description
Two Dresses, 1940s

The first dress is made of a blue crepe bodice with a large beaded and sequined flower over the left shoulder. A floor-length floral printed skirt is sewn into a fitted waistline, which closes at the side with a zip. The back neckline closes with two hooks and eyes.

The second dress is made of black crepe and velvet with a fold-down collar, short cap sleeves and a straight skirt to just below the knee. The front of the bodice and hips section are trimmed with black velvet that is gathered at the side hips and draped into a panel that hangs freely down the center back. The dress closes down the center back with a zip.

Condition Report
Condition:
The blue dress has some faint discoloration in the fabric around the shoulders and at the center back neck closure.
The black dress is in very good condition with a few minor snags in the fabric towards the front hem.
