Lot Description

Christian Dior by Marc Bohan Haute Couture Ensemble, Autumn-Winter 1964

Worn by Dame Olivia de Havilland.

Ensemble consists of dress, shoes and hat. Blue silk dress with scoop neckline, raglan sleeves and wide belt tied into a large bow at the center front. The dress closes down the center back with a zip. Shoes and hat are made of black satin. The hat is a fitted cloche style and the shoes are pumps.

Condition Report

Condition:
The overall structure of the dress is in good condition with a 1" open seam under the right arm. The main condition problelm is with vertical lines of discoloration/dye loss in the back of the skirt and down the left sleeve. The neckline is also discolored from wear on both the inside and outside edge. The black shoes are worn with the sole coming loose on both shoes and a worn area at the center back and down the back of the heel.
