Lot Description
Dress, Shawl, Earrings, Ring and Bag, 1988. Dress designed by Paul Zastupnevitch and made by Western Costume Company in Los Angeles
Worn by Olivia de Havilland for the 60th Academy Awards in 1988 when she presented the award for best art direction.
Red silk crepe dress made of multiple layers of the same material with a wide, sweeping hem and a single, see-through layer for the sleeves. The dress closes down the center back and worn with a self-fabric scarf. The bag is finished with the same material as the dress and is with a single flap and chain strap. Costume jewelry is included with this ensemble, including a goldtone and large red stone ring and ear clips.

The dress is in very good condition with one faint brown spot on the front waist. The scarf has two holes with one measuring .5" in length and the second is in the shape of a small L with one side measuring 1.5" and the other .5"
