Yves Saint Laurent Haute Couture Evening Ensemble, 1982-83

Evening ensemble includes belted blouse of light blue silk satin with exaggerated leg of mutton sleeves, draped hips, and belted bow at waist. A black double knit straight skirt with center front slit.

BLOUSE
The overall condition is fair. There is discoloration under each arm as well as down the center front facing, sleeve hems, tie belt facing, and peplum folds. The right shoulder seam is coming loose as is the sleeve seam near the cuff where the zipper is attached. There are signs of previous repair work done on the right sleeve near the zipper where the end of the zipper is coming loose. There are small spots throughout the bodice most notably on the front right near the waist, center back near the waist, and right front peplum near hem. The attached center back belt is coming loose from the blouse. 

SKIRT
The overall condition is good with some discoloration on the waistband.
