A Continental High-Karat Gold and Ruby-Inset Zoomorphic Walking Stick
Late 19th/Early 20th Century
the handle in the form of a hound's head with a ruby banded collar above the ebony handle ending in a horn ferrule.
apparently unmarked, handle tests for 22-karat via electronic assay
Length 36 1/8 inches. 
Condition Report
Appears in overall good, stable attractive condition. Wear to base of ferrule. No other significant condition issues noted. Additional images available upon request.
