A Paul Storr George III Silver-Gilt Fruit Cooler
London, 1804
having a grape leaf finial surmounting a domed lid, the body with twin serpent-form handles surmounting a body with mask and grape leaf and cluster decoration, the middle register engraved with the arms of Lord Monson with a fluted bottom and circular foot and having a removable liner and collar.
marked for Sterling on underside of lid rim, side of liner and base edge

Condition Report
In overall stable, attractive condition. The gilt decoration is bright but modern. Interior and underside lacking gilt decoration. The snake-form handles obstruct the removal of the liner. Liner can be removed but must be manuevered to not strike the handles. Hallmarked on finial, lid rim, liner body and base rim. A few scattered small superficial nicks to body. Additional images available upon request.
