Numerous photographic illustrations. 20th-century calf gilt, smooth spine in 5 compartments, 2 gilt-lettered, large central compartment with onlaid South African flag; brown cloth slipcase with inlaid commemorative 5 rand "Madiba" coin featuring Mandela's portrait, issued in 2008 to mark his 90th birthday.
FIRST ENGLISH EDITION of Mandela's first autobiography taken largely from a manuscript he secretly penned while imprisoned. SIGNED BY MANDELA.
