Lot Description
A Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze and Sèvres Style Porcelain Mounted Kingwood Bureau Plat
Edward Holmes Baldock, 19th Century
with a tooled leather-inset top, the underside branded EHB.

Condition Report
One side with a small section of lost veneer. Other minor veneer cracks/slight rippling as is normal for age. Leather top with old water marks, discolorations and indentations; probably original. One porcelain plaque on one side is yellowed and cracked/restored. Another plaque on the back of the desk is cracked, as is one on the front. One sabot is detached but present. No key.
