Lot Description
A Louis XVI Style Gilt Metal Mounted Walnut and Marquetry Extension Dining Table
19th Century
Height 30 x width 80 3/4 (fully extended) x depth 47 inches.
Condition Report
The leaf is probably later; was likely custom made to match the 19th century table; the table 19th century but has been retrofitted to accommodate an extension function. The top may be associated to the base. Sturdy and usable condition; some scratches in the top and the leaf. Without the leaf, the top is an oval shape and measures 47" wide x 37 1/2" deep.
