Lot Description

FRENCH, VICTORIAN, DIAMOND, RUBY AND ENAMEL BANGLE BRACELET

Consisting of a yellow gold bangle bracelet surmounted with a silver plaque containing 35 old European, old mine, single and step cut diamonds weighing approximately 1.70 carats total and six round cabochon rubies measuring approximately 3.80 mm in diameter, with red and black enamel detail and adjustable hinged back. 6 1/2-7 1/8 inches inner circumference.
Stamp: (French export hallmarks) (maker's mark).
43.45 dwt.

Condition Report

Measurements: The bracelet is adjustable. The inner circumference can measure approximately 6 1/2 to 7 1/8 inches. It measures approximately 1 3/8 inches wide at widest.

Overall Condition: Please note the center diamond is chipped. The silver section can move in its attachment. There is some discoloration and scratching to the metal. The enamel is primarily intact, with some wearing down at the tips of the leaves/petals.

Diamond Characteristics (graded insofar as mounting permits):
Color: J-K-L (Three of the diamonds are M+).
Clarity: SI-I.
