A Chinese Jizhou 'Papercut' Tea Bowl
SONG DYNASTY (960-1279)
宋 吉州玳瑁釉剪紙貼花鳳盌
the sloping walls resting on a tapering foot ring, surmounted by a lipped mouth rim, the interior resist-decorated with papercut phoenix and prunus.

Condition Report
Height 2.5 in., 6.6 cm.

Overall in stable condition. Some loss to crackled elements of glaze, particularly to the exterior. Surface scratching throughout, and light chipping at the base and foot.
