A Fine Pale Celadon Jade Table Screen 
19TH CENTURY
清十九世紀 青白玉雕高士圖插屏 連硬木座
of rectangular shape with an arched top edge, finely carved on one side with three sages and two attendants on terraces amongst a mountainous setting, the landscape accentuated with craggy overhanging rocks and gnarled pine, the far left of the scene with a pavilion, the reverse with a similarly mountainous backdrop, the stone of pale celadon tone with light russet inclusions, raised on a fitted reticulated hardwood stand.

Height of jade 7 3/8 x width 10 x depth 3/4 in., 18.73 x 25.4 x 1.9 cm

Overall good and stable condition. The jade plaque having a crack to the upper corner, running approximately 3 1/8 in. The wood stand in stable condition. Missing one small fraction of the reticulated decoration.
