In overall decent, stable, attractive condition. The gilt decoration is refreshed with a few scattered areas of chipping and loses with exposed gesso, does not detract from overall aesthetic unless viewed closely. The central mirror plate exhibits sign of age but is later than the cornice and border plates. The cornice and border plates are largely intact but with a few cracks visible in areas that are covered by gilt decoration. Scattered restoration to gilt decoration, particularly the more delicate foliate elements as one would expect with age. The frame was reinforced on back in the late 19/early 20th century.
