A Gold Lacquer Shibayama Inlaid Three-Case Inro
19TH CENTURY
of rectangular form, decorated in shibayama style depicting cranes and chrysanthemum blossoms on a gold ikakeji ground, encased in a gold hiramakie sheath, unsigned.
Height 4 1/8 in., 10.48 cm.
Condition Report
Overall good condition. The middle tier sticking, the top and bottom opening and closing with ease. Some rubbing to gilt details. The cord ruptured.
