A Set of Six Louis XV Carved and Painted Fauteuils

18th Century and Later

Height 37 x width 26 x depth 19 1/2 inches.

Condition Report

The chairs appear to be 18th century or early 19th century, but the paint is probably later. The chairs have also been professionally conserved with later seat blocks added for stability; some joints may have been glue repaired. Sturdy and usable condition overall; light normal wear from use. Upholstery showing some wear but intact.
Seat height: 16 1/2 inches.
