A Chippendale Cherry and Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Likely New England, Late 18th Century

Height 36 x width 40 x depth 21 1/2 inches.

Condition Report

In overall fine and stable condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use. The drawers show age, but likely have had some level of reconstruction. Age cracks visible throughout, with areas of associated veneer lifting. Areas of loss to the inlay. Few age cracks visible throughout. Drawer pulls and brasses replaced. The feet and lower molding are replaced.
