Condition Report
Condition:

The overall condition is very good structurally with the following:
Losses: The sixth button from the top is missing at center front.
Fading/Color Change: There is some overall light darkening due to age and wear throughout.
Soiling/Spots: The initial embellishment pattern tracings are noticeable in a few areas throughout and there are small pinhead sized spots on the front and back hemline. There is some large areas of soiling, mostly around the back hemline, and sleeves (though to a lesser degree). Soiling is noticeable along the collar and upper bodice lining.
Repairs/Alterations: There is a question of if the belt was a reproduction. The snap closure belays the button stitched on the exterior. The taffeta neck ruffle and belt do not match exactly the inner sleeve cuff facing and may have been replaced.

Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging. All other condition issues are stated above. To request additional working condition photos, please email couturecr@hindmanauctions.com with the lot number.
