Condition Report
Condition:

The overall condition is very good structurally with the following:
Structural Issues: No major issues.
Split/Separated Seams: No split seams though there are some loose threads along the front shearling wool at the front placket and under each arm.
Losses: There are many worn points on the corners and high-raised parts of the silk braided embellishment. There are also some areas of hair/fur loss, mostly around the neckline and front opening.
Insect Damage: None discernable.
Corrosion/Tarnish: The jet beads have several areas in various stages of degradation with a white coating on the outside surface.
Repairs/Alterations: The lining appears to be two different fabrics with one appearing newer. Looking at the stitching details, it's reasonable to believe it has been re-lined at some point and the label sewn back in on the new lining.
