Silk Taffeta Three-Piece Evening Dress, 1860s

Tan silk taffeta evening dress with bright pink taffeta accents, box neckline, front pointed waist, and full circular skirt with detachable pink taffeta belt.

Condition Report
Condition:

The overall condition is good with the following:
Structural Issues: There is some minor splitting along the front bodice opening folds. The skirt waistband is heavily shredded though still attached by tacked on muslin.
Split/Separated Seams: The top bodice eye closure is loose.
Losses: There is a small hole on the front right shoulder. The top bodice button is missing.
Fading/Color Change: There is some overall light fading on the bodice and skirt shells.
Soiling/Spots: The bodice has several small spots along the fronts and backs of the sleeves, the front and back waist points, and the right shoulder. The skirt has numerous light spots throughout the entirety of the piece. The belt has a spot on the back of the left strip.  
Repairs/Alterations: There is some muslin tacked onto the waistband to help stabilize.
