Lot Description
Two Pairs of Chinese Sancai Glazed Porcelain Figures of Fu Lions
LATE 19TH CENTURY/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
each modeled seated on a plinth, two grasping a ball, the head detailed with fierce protruding rounded eyes, thick brows, and roaring mouth revealing teeth and sharp fangs.
Height of taller 10 in., 25.4 cm.
Condition Report
Each figure in overall good condition. One small lion figure has a minute chip to the curly mane, the larger lion figures have several shallow firing cracks.
