8vo (184 x 122 mm). Half-title, 4pp. publisher's advertisements at end. Original tan cloth stamped in red, black and gilt, top edge stained orange, other edges uncut (hinges starting, some minor soiling or staining); publisher's original printed dust jacket (front joint and front flap fold neatly separated, a few other minor separations, chipping with losses to edges, spine soiled, corners clipped).
FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING with publisher's advertisements at end beginning with "Gilbert Parker's Best Books." BAL 4076.
