Condition Report

In overall decent, stable condition. Old scuffs, marks and scratches throughout, and various instances of age splits and seam separation, all consistent with age and use. Some scattered areas of flaking and loss to gilt decoration with exposed red bole and basewood. Multiple repairs/reattached elements to the cornice of one example with visible glue residue, and a couple portions of decoration broken and missing. One notable area of repair along the frame of the second example with visible glue residue. Additional images available upon request.
