6 volumes, 8vo, comprising: the works of De Stace (4 volumes), and the works of Pétrone (2 volumes). Half-titles. 20th-century red morocco gilt, edges gilt, stamp-signed by Belz Niedrer. Provenance: B. E. (monogram in gilt on spines); Robert Hoe III (1839-1909), first President of the Grolier Club (morocco bookplate gilt).
Collected edition of literature in translation, the complete series comprised some 178 volumes. THE VERY FINE ROBERT HOE COPY.
