A Louis XVI Gilt Bronze Mounted Boulle Marquetry Bracket Clock
Movement Engraved Étienne Baillon à Paris, 19th Century
Height 24 inches.
Condition Report
The movement winds, runs and strikes when the hands are advanced. With pendulum and winding key, but the key does not fit with this clock. The enameled segments of the dial intact; a few hairline cracks but no significant damage or repair. The case with typical veneer cracks, chips, small losses, areas of lifting or lost brass inlay, and areas of bent inlay, with a few sections of bronze mounts loose or having cracks / minor fractures from casting.
