A Meissen Porcelain Tea Kettle on Stand
19th Century
the stand with an associated candle holder.
Height overall 11 1/4 inches. 
Sold to Benefit the Acquisition Fund of the Indianapolis Museum of Art at Newfields
Condition Report
In overall decent, stable condition. Each element with a painted museum accession number. Body, lid and stand without significant structural breaks or repairs. Small chip to tip of spout. Spout with a few unglazed areas and firing crack near where spout connects to body, all appear to be from production and not later repairs. Handle of teapot with heavier crazing. Scattered small chips and loses to floral and garland decoration on body, lid and stand. One floral element on base leg with heavier loses. Candle holder apparently unmarked and likely associated.
