This lot includes seven costume illustrations for various opera productions.

THE FIRST
Orgon in Tartuffe by Moliere. (likely a late 1960's production) 1960s Goodman Theater production played by Edgar Daniels. Gouache and pencil on paper.

All conditions exclude the frame, matting, and glass.

THE FIRST
The overall condition is very good though the paper has yellowed due to age.

THE SECOND
The overall condition is very good with faint yellowing throughout and additional costume notes and smudges on the margins from when the illustration was drafted.

THE THIRD
The overall condition is very good though there is small section where the right arm and hand were redrawn on a paper overlay. There are additional costume notes in the margins from when the illustration was drafted. The paper is slightly warped, likely due to the medium used to render.

THE FOURTH
The overall condition is very good though there are additional costume notes in the margins from when the illustration was drafted. The paper is slightly warped, likely due to the medium used to render.

THE FIFTH
The overall condition is very good with no visible issues.

THE SIXTH
The overall condition is very good with no visible issues.

THE SEVENTH
The overall condition is very good with some slight yellowing. There are additional marks along the bottom of the page which are from color matching and were made from when the illustrations was drafted.
