A Chinese Blue and White Porcelain 'Dragon' Bottle Vase
JIAJING MARK
嘉靖款 青花云龍紋玉壺春瓶
the globular tear-shaped body supported by a straight foot, narrowing to a slender neck before flaring to a wide everted mouth rim; the exterior decoration of three registers delineated by a triple ring about the shoulder and neck, dividing the main register of two striding dragons chasing flaming pearls amidst elongated clouds beneath lotus sprays and auspicious emblems; the underside bearing a six-character Jiajing mark within a double ring.

Overall very good stable condition free of apparent repairs or restorations. Very minor pitting to the glaze in isolation, shelfwear to foot.
