A Swedish Neoclassical Parcel-Gilt, Églomisé and Porphyry Console and Mirror
IN THE MANNER OF PETTER GUSTAF BYLANDER, EARLY 19TH CENTURY
Mounted with glass panels reverse-painted to simulate black porphyry, with red porphyry top.
Height overall 112 1/2 x width 57 1/4 x depth 29 inches. Height of console 29 1/2 x length 57 1/4 x depth 29 5/8 inches; height of mirror 79 1/2 x width 62 1/2 inches.

Repair to one verre eglomise panel at the base of the mirror; minor losses to gilding, otherwise good condition.
