A Louis XVI Tapestry-Upholstered Five-Piece Salon Suite
CIRCA 1790
comprising a later-painted canapé and set of four fauteuils, all upholstered uniquely. 
Height of fauteuils 40 3/4 x width 26 x depth 21 inches; height of canapé 44 x length 76 x depth 27 inches.

Condition Report
With some age and construction cracks and signs of worm damage. Minor chips and abrasions to carving. Small losses to gesso. Losses, rubbing and surface dirt to refreshed paint. Aubusson upholstery with scattered restitching and splits at color changes. In otherwise good overall condition. Stable.
