Lot Description
A Bronze Covered Incense Burner
LATE 19TH CENTURY/EARLY 20TH CENTURY
the lozenge-form body cast with shaped panels depicting mythical beasts in outdoor scenes, the two handles in the shape of clusters of clouds, raised on three tall splayed legs issuing from phoenix heads, suspending loose rings, terminating in claw feet, the domed cover decorated with lotus panels, surmounted by a seated kirin-form finial, unsigned.
Height 13 in., 33 cm.
