Condition Report
Condition:

The overall condition is good structurally with the following:

THE FIRST
Split/Separated Seams: The coat has several areas where the stitches have opened, most notably along both the opening facings, the bottoms of each vent at the hem, a few stitches in the back shoulder facing on the right neckline, and the interior of the right pocket lining.
Fading/Color Change: The coat has darkened along the shoulders.
Soiling/Spots: The coat is moderately soiled throughout from use, mostly from the bottoms of the pockets to the hemline with some additional dark spots on the sleeves just above the cuffs.
Repairs/Alterations: The top left button has been replaced.

THE SECOND
Structural Issues: The black mesh overlay at the neckline is starting to shred, mostly on the left side, holes under each of the arms, pulling from the back left waist and shredding at the back left side opening.
Split/Separated Seams: The interior bodice lining ruffle is separating on the front right. The under stitching behind the pleating at the hemline is missing in sections.
Losses: There is some missing beads in the bottom mesh fringe. There is a 1" hole in the back mesh overlay approximately 12" from the bottom.
Fading/Color Change: The black netting is starting to discolor where the black beading is attached, turning an orange color and the purple satin is changing to a lighter purple.
Soiling/Spots: The underarms have some moderate soiling under each, noticeably in the lining.
Corrosion/Tarnish: The black beading is developing an opaque white film over most pieces.
