A Louis XV Style Gilt Bronze Mounted Kingwood Flip-Top Table by François Linke
Paris, Second Half 19th Century
the proper-left rear mount stamped F. Linke.
Height 29 3/4 x diameter of top 40 1/2 inches (open).

Condition Report
The flip-top detaches from the base, having a clean baize surface when opening. The edge of the top having loss to the veneer, few other minor scattered instances of loss throughout. The central back leg, which opens outward for support when the table is fully open, has a crack to the apron section creating instability. Able to stand on its own, but delicate when moving and handling. Bronze mount on this leg loose, missing all but bottom-most nail. Other mounts slightly raised from settings. Having probably scattered instances of retouch to gilt.
