This lot includes two two-piece skirt suits.
THE FIRST
Brown and ivory wool tweed two-piece skirt suit including a belted single notch lapel jacket with front chest patch pocket, and front hook and eye closure; paired with matching straight-fit skirt. Fall 1996.

THE FIRST
The overall condition is good though there are signs of alterations made to the jacket side seams which are noticeable in the lining. There is some light soiling along the neckline and each sleeve hem lining, and a larger orange soiled spot on the front left lapel just above the closure with larger and darker soiling along the interior spot, and a red spot on the front left chest pocket button. Each sleeve hem has some loose yarns. The skirt has a dark spot on the front near the center and the side seams have been altered and is noticeable in the lining. Both pieces have a smoke odor.
THE SECOND
The overall condition is good structurally though there is a large yellowed soiled spot on the front right lapel and breast pocket, soiling along the neckline, and spots on the back upper arms and hems of each sleeves. The skirt has signed of alterations noticeably in the lining at the waist with an extension piece added to the back waist band. Both pieces have smoke odor.
Everything is sold 'As Is’. The stated overall condition of the lot is based on the assumption that the wear is consistent with age and use. The absence of any reference to the condition of a lot does not imply that the lot is in perfect condition or completely free from wear and tear, imperfections, or the effects of aging.
