the bronze signed Joé Descomps and with Ste. Etling Éditeur Paris foundry mark.
Height 19 x width 16 3/8 inches.

Condition Report
In overall attractive, stable condition, the marble surfaces with a shiny, even polish and the bronze elements with a handsome patina. A three-inch arc to the lower edge of the base is chipped off. Additional minor chips along the inner rim of the bowl. One of the upper figural mounts lacking its screw to attach it to the bowl. The central column and some of its bronze elements slightly loose, but sturdy overall with no losses. Diameter of bowl 12 1/2 inches. Width over figural mounts 16 1/2 inches.
