Lot Description
A Louis XVI White-Painted Beechwood Settee
Circa 1790
Height 40 3/4 x width 65 x depth 24 inches.
Condition Report
In overall fine and stable condition.  Retaining a fairly even later painted surface that shows rubbing consistent with handling.  Old scuffs, marks and scratches consistent with age and use.  The upholstery is in tact showing few small areas of discoloration or light staining.  Age cracks visible, particularly at the junction of the joint at the crest rails and side back supports.
