Condition Report

The secretary might be late 18th century, but it has been reconfigured and probably repainted in the 19th century. The upper section's back board has been replaced and the interior may rebuilt. The interior was repainted in the 20th century. The crest has one small element chipped off, and one side slightly loose. Scattered paint loss and cracquelure throughout.
