A Tachi
BLADE: 14TH CENTURY. SIGNED RAI KUNIYOSHI
太刀  來國吉
tachi in shirasaya .
Length of blade 28 1/4 in. 71.7 cm.
Condition Report
Long sword known as a Tachi. Blade is in fair old polish, from the pictures, the blade has the grain and temperline visible. However, there are areas of openings and loose grain in the lower 1/3 of the blade. Boshi is not visible. Encased in a traditional shirasaya that is in good condition.
